To Bean Or Not To Bean.

That Is The Question!

Hello all! Hope you're having yourselves a wonderful Sunday (or whatever day it may be when you read this) and are enjoying a nice cup of brew for yourself, whatever your poison: coffee or tea! While I do really love a nice hot cup of tea and my tea kettle is boss-coffee usually wins the war between the two for me. My standard flavor of choice is a good dark roast with Irish creamer and on days I feel extra fancy maybe a dash of sugar.

I got the opportunity to review this Zancona medium roast coffee in exchange for my review at a lowered rate and snapped up the opportunity! Now this coffee DOES come as the full bean so you will need to own a coffee grinder-if you don't already own one you SHOULD and you can pick one up at pretty much any local superstore for fairly cheap.

One great thing about this particular coffee is that it is all natural-no preservatives or anything extra added to it, just the beans which are all hand roasted, not burnt in a factory. Another super cool thing about these people is that they donate five percent of all royalties to the Kuna Yala tribe in Columbia to help them get the things they need. I will admit I had no idea this tribe existed before trying this coffee but looking up some information on the Kuna people was super cool. They are most famous for their super colorful clothing, probably why the coffee goes under the hashtag #colorfulcoffee.

The coffee itself has a super laid back and mellow flavor to it (there is no super strong kick like I'm used to with my black-as-my-soul coffee) and is really pretty tasty even to a darker roast fan. I will probably save it for the most part to make when my family comes to visit because they are always raining on my black parade and would probably enjoy a medium roast much more.

All In All: 8.5/10 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌠 (yes the shooting star is half a rainbow :P)
The Good: It's a nice lighter roast, it's hand roasted, all natural and a portion of the profits go to helping people. You can't really get much better than that.
The Bad: I do prefer a darker roast coffee so I didn't get as much flavor out of this as a normal person probably would. While this coffee is an 8.5 for me it may be a 10 for someone else that prefer a lighter roast!
Where You Can Find It: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01E6388X2 . Right now its $15.15 a lb or $22.95 for 2lbs ($11.48/lb). They have a "Buy 3 Get 20% off" promo going right now too!

If you like drinking a tasty medium roast that is both tasty for you and helpful to others give it a try! With this coffee it's a win/win! Thanks for reading guys and stay awesome!
