Getting Wiggy With It

A Tale Of Two Hairs

Hello all! Today I will be reviewing yet another item I got at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. Today for your judgement: a wig.

Now those that know me know that I have a little bit of a wig problem. Just a little. Okay, so this is my 24th wig. So by now I know wigs pretty well and what kind of wig issues can be easily resolved with a little bit of effort, which ones can be covered up and which just mean that a wig is not going to work and needs to go in the trash.

I wasn't expecting much out of this wig to be honest with you. It's a $20 Amazon wig and usually that means you're going to be in for a world of disappointment. Either the hair is going to be an awful texture, too thin, falling out, the cap is going to be messed up, it's shiny as all heck and looks like a Halloween costume store wig, the list goes on and on. Any $20 price point wig is taking a huge gamble with your cash and is probably going to result in a bad payoff.

In this case I was very pleasantly surprised. This wig was not a lace front (those usually carry a much larger price tag so no shock there) but the hairline was very nice. The cap seems to be really well made and while it doesn't include wig clips it does have straps on the inside to help it fit your head size. It fit mine without any adjustment just fine. It is a little shiny but in more of a "Wow, that's really healthy hair" kind of way and less of a "Wow, THAT'S a wig" kind of way. The hair isn't SUPER thick but I actually enjoy that because my natural hair is super thick and it's nice to have thinner hair sometimes. That being said it's not THIN and there aren't any spots where the hair is anywhere near sparse enough to see the cap while wearing.

All In All: 8/10 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
The Good: It's a great wig, especially for this price. The color is a nice dark rich shade of brown, the waves are perfect and springy and it's super soft and pretty on. It's easily on par with wigs I've spent much more money on and I'm happy to have it added to my collection!
The Bad: It is a bit shiny and I prefer my wigs to have clips in them, although for this price it's understandable that it doesn't have them and they could easily be sewn in. The part is a bit odd and the very front of the hairline is a little bit difficult to work with at first, not anything that can't be worked with but it will take a minute to get it to your liking.
Where You Can Find It: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y26LN45 for $20-yes TWENTY buckaroos. This is an awesome deal, really.

I love it, I'll wear it in the future, I'm happy with it in general. Below is both an edited pic of me wearing the wig AND three totally unedited pictures showing the front, the cap and the wig overall. As always thank you for reading and stay awesome!
