IE: A Cut Above The Rest
This set of three ceramic knives was sent to me complimentary in exchange for my honest review. They ordinarily run $276 but right now they're having a 75% off launch sale so you get them for $69 plus free shipping! Mine arrived really quickly too, which was a nice bonus.
I have three kiddos and am a full time student as well as a full time mommy....my oldest just started kindergarten, my middle child is a veggie/fruit addict and my youngest has just entered the world of eating big people food recently and seems to want to eat the whole world. Between the three of them my kitchen has to have a few things: products that are easy to clean because I can't stand over the sink all day and I don't have a dishwasher, products that make my job easier and quicker so that I can go find out why my middle child is imitating a hawk in the living room AND products that are worth the investment. I don't mind spending more on quality cookware, utensils etc etc. if they will last me a long time and do their job right.
These knives come with three sizes: An 8" chef's knife, a 6" utility knife and a 4" paring knife. Between these three sizes you've got everything you need to cover prep for an entire meal: slicing, dicing, paring, chopping through big thick pieces of meat or gourds and finely mincing herbs. They're really lightweight and easy to clean too so you don't get as worn out from using them for a long period of time-which you shouldn't have to because they stay sharp for a long time so they make prep super fast.
All In All: πππππππππI'm really happy with my set. I'm going to say 9/10 just because I do wish they came with one more longer skinny blade but hey, this set is great.
The Good: Lightweight, Sharp, All-Purpose, Easy to Clean, Cut Prep Time Down.
The Bad: Three knives does still seem like not a lot to get, even if these do the work of a much larger set.
Where You Can Find It: https://chefsfoundry.com/kfe-order-form-15572326 ---on sale!
I'd say ESPECIALLY while this is on sale this is a good solid investment. It's better than buying a much larger set of cheaper knives that get dull or break quickly and may come with more knives but you don't ever really use more than three or so anyway. Quality over quantity is important when making long term investments in your household basics and I'd say these definitely win on quality.
Thank you guys so much for reading and as always, stay awesome!
