Squish Time!

aka:Why Are Squish Toys So Satisfying?!

One of my favorite kinds of products to review are toys for my kids. Not only do they get the joy of trying something new but their opinions are always bluntly honest and it's incredibly refreshing! Not to mention it takes a lot of the work off of me-they get to be the guinea pigs. Latest up for testing by the Wild Child Team are some adorable little squish toys made by a company called Nutty Toys. The girls (ages 1.5 and 3.5) tried a set of tiny cat squishes and my big man (6) got the larger tooth squish in honor of his impending loss of his first tooth. Where are you, first loose tooth? We're waiting man....tooth fairy needs to start collecting!

All In All: ðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆ 7/10
The Good: Something about squish toys is just so therapeutic. They are like the kiddo equivalent of a stress ball. You can throw it, you can smush it, you can stretch it and it just keeps on ticking. These were super cute and the kids thought they were really nifty. The kitties were stretchier than the tooth but the tooth was super squishable so he didn't mind the tradeoff.
The Bad: The only complaint that the kids themselves had was that they were "stinky". They had that standard new squishy plastic toy smell that isn't so great...a spritz of perfume took care of that fairly quickly though and none of them minded after that. My biggest issue personally was with the kitties....while the less stretchy tooth had held the test of time well so far the kitties had lost all their cute facial features by the end of day one...no more eyes! Now they just look like squish blobs which is kind of upsetting to my three year old. She prefers animals to have eyes. I would say that the larger squish tooth is a much better deal overall.
Where You Can Find It: https://www.facebook.com/nuttytoys

Currently priced at under $10 (just under ten for the tooth and only around 8 for the set of two cats) these are pretty inexpensive for being so cute. They would also make great kawaii decorations and as decorations they wouldn't lose their eyes! I loved getting to review these with the kiddos and would definitely recommend them as an inexpensive gift if your kids like things that are adorable and smushy!

As always thanks for reading guys and stay awesome!

A Little Bit Of Magical Goodness!

aka: Unicorns Are The Best

My daughter loves pink. And unicorns. And pink unicorns. I'm not going to lie, I see the appeal. I too am a unicorn fan-so I was super excited to review this next product. Like a lot of 3.5 year olds, my Rose is not a fan of dark scary bedtime so I have tried an assortment of products to lighten up the room she shares with her little sister. The challenge is finding something they both like that is bright enough for her but not so bright the 1.5 year old has difficulty sleeping. Enter unicorn light!

All In All: ðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆ 9/10
The Good: While we opted for pink and unicorn they have a variety of options available if that isn't your style and all of them look super cute! They are affordable and kids will love them.
The Bad: While I saw complaints from some reviewers that the product seemed to be made cheaply I haven't noticed any issues with mine. It is made of plastic but it is hard plastic and seems fairly durable. The off/on switch is located on the back so you will have to remove it from the wall to turn off/on and it will require two AA batteries that don't come with it. All minor inconveniences that aren't really a big deal to me, personally but may be an issue for others.
Where You Can Find It: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075PBBB18

Currently priced at $12.78 with other options all staying under $25.00 these are really cute wall decorations or shelf decorations for a nursery, kids room or just a space for those of us that are kids at heart. It shipped super fast and is super easy to get up and glowing in just a couple minutes. I love it and will be ordering a few more in the future, so glad I got the opportunity to review this product!

As always thanks for reading guys and stay awesome!

Stuff That Is Leaving Me Part Two

Hey guys! I have sat down and done a count---and I have too much stuff. Way too much. I am currently holding over 60 palettes in my collection and almost 300 lippies....and honestly, most days I don't even have time for more than my moisturizer. With a TON of shades that are nearly identical and no realistic way for me to get through everything I am getting rid of a big chunk of my collection. This is wave one-stuff that is either brand new/just swatched/lightly used.
I will be doing a wave two soon!

All these are the stock photos to show what the shades are but I have listed the condition of the palettes as well-most are new or just swatched. :) Let me know what you're interested in and I will take as many pics as you want of the actual palette with me so that you can make sure it passes your inspection first!

Here are the palettes and I have a post just above this with my lippies!

NOTE: If anyone wants a bundle of these I will cut some off the price and I will include a free gift (or two) with everything bought-bundle or not! <3

Palettes
Urban Decay Electric Palette
This palette---ahhh. They aren't making it anymore to my knowledge and it is awesome pigmented gorgeous shades. Unfortunately I never get to play with this much so I want it to go live with someone who will love it like it deserves! A couple of the shades have been used literally two or three times-there are some that aren't touched. It still has the brush and box with it as well. $35

Urban Decay Distortion Palette
This palette is like an awesome combination of KVDs alchemy palette and a regular palette! The top row are all shades that you can use either as highlighters or over shadows to shift their colors. It's magical af which is why I bought it but- umm...I already have all these shades spread out through other palettes.  I literally swatched two of the top shades to see if they were different from my other palettes and they weren't-the other shades haven't been touched at all. Brand new, minus the box. $20

Lime Crime Venus XL
This palette is kind of the best thing ever. My awesome fiance got it for me for my birthday and I lost it before I got to use it-a week of searching turned up nothing so he got me another one. Then we found the first one. -_- I held on to the first one because I was going to give it as a present to a friend for their birthday but we are no longer friends so hey, hey-don't need it! Brand new in box. $45

Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette SOLD PENDING PICKUP
A great little basic shades palette with a cute cat themed twist-I bought this a while back but then ended up with so many basic shades in my other large palettes that it renders this one obsolete for me. I have swatched it but other than that its brand new minus a box. I do have a few other Too Faced palettes this size and they make AWESOME palettes to take along with you because of their size. $15
Urban Decay Smoked Palette
I love the packaging for this palette and it has some gorgeous colors-its just another case of me already having all of these shades in other palettes and not wanting to waste this in a drawer. Brand new, never even swatched. Doesn't have the eyeliner with it. $20
Too Faced Funfetti
Swatched one shade-other than that it hasn't been touched. I have the natural eyes palette and they share a lot of shades with each other so this one is just laying around not getting love. This was a one time only release through the HSN and the packaging is super cute! $25

Kat Von D Innerstellar
Ah, the palette I was going to attempt to pan but realized none of the shades really work with my skin tone! This palette has medium usage on it-most shades have been swatched and that's it, a few have a little bit missing but are far from hitting pan (still looks exactly the same as my instagram post the other day-zero progress was made lol). This was a limited release and will never come out again. $30

Urban Decay Tenant Palette
Was limited edition-love the shades and the packaging but I already have all these colors too-so on to a new home! Swatched, otherwise new. $20

Colourpop My Little Pony Palette
Got for nostalgia purposes-won't ever actually use because I, again, already have the shades in other palettes I use more often. Brand new, never swatched, in box. $10
Urban Decay Ammo Palette
Love this cute little palette but it's too much glitter for me! This is the orginal ammo palette from UD and it's only been swatched. No brush, no box but its in great condition and all the product is there! $20

Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette
Awesome quad with great sized pans of each shade-was only made for a short period of time. Only used a couple of times before I got my Naked palette set that has all but Woodstock in it-so I'd rather it go to a new home! $20

Skinn Don't Budge Cream Quad
These are four beautiful waterproof cream shadows-comes brand new, in box, with brush. LOVE that it's packaged like an art set. I just never use cream shadows and I'm stuck in my ways-every review I've read on these seems to love them and apparently they blend well both alone and with powder and are truly waterproof-I haven't tried myself. Some people use them as base shades as well! $25

Ulta Melisa Michelle Palette SOLD PENDING PICKUP
This "palette" has a highligher trio, a blush, a matte lipstick & 9 shadows-5 matte, 4 metallic. The bottom right corner shade, Tobo, has a nick out  of the top from my daughter but it has never been used, including the lipstick (the shade "Scandy"). $10
Urban Decay "Gallery" Blush/Bronzer/Highlight Palette
From the same collection as the Tenant palette, this was limited edition and isn't going to be released again. I have too many highlights and blushes and don't really bronze mehself so it needs a new home. Brand new in box, never used. $20

You Better WATCH Out!

You Better WATCH Out!

Hello lovelies! After a grueling end to last semester and an equally not fun start to Spring semester I am back to reviewing! Today I'm looking at a watch I recently got the opportunity to get-soon I will be doing a divide-and-conquer style review of my entire makeup stash! AND....*cue dramatic music* a needed destash.

But on to the goodies!

All In All: ðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆðŸŒˆ 6/10
The Good: It's cute, it's quirky, it's inexpensive!
The Bad: It is pretty cheaply made-and with that IV shining bright at the bottom of the watch it's not exactly...umm...right.
Where You Can Find It: https://babiesrhere.com/products/gofuly-2017-new-luxury-watch-fashion-stainless-steel-watch-for-man-quartz-analog-wrist-watch-orologio-uomo-hot-sales

Let's face it-you get what you pay for most of the time. At $9.95 this watch is a super cute fashion statement piece and it looks pretty great until you get all up in the watch face. Ha. Get it? Ah...watch humor. I'd say it's a pretty good deal for what it is! I'm wanting to use it in a mat hatter style outfit soon, it's perfect for something like that. :)

As always thanks for reading guys and stay awesome!
(I'll be back soon!)
