aka:Why Are Squish Toys So Satisfying?!
One of my favorite kinds of products to review are toys for my kids. Not only do they get the joy of trying something new but their opinions are always bluntly honest and it's incredibly refreshing! Not to mention it takes a lot of the work off of me-they get to be the guinea pigs. Latest up for testing by the Wild Child Team are some adorable little squish toys made by a company called Nutty Toys. The girls (ages 1.5 and 3.5) tried a set of tiny cat squishes and my big man (6) got the larger tooth squish in honor of his impending loss of his first tooth. Where are you, first loose tooth? We're waiting man....tooth fairy needs to start collecting!

The Good: Something about squish toys is just so therapeutic. They are like the kiddo equivalent of a stress ball. You can throw it, you can smush it, you can stretch it and it just keeps on ticking. These were super cute and the kids thought they were really nifty. The kitties were stretchier than the tooth but the tooth was super squishable so he didn't mind the tradeoff.
The Bad: The only complaint that the kids themselves had was that they were "stinky". They had that standard new squishy plastic toy smell that isn't so great...a spritz of perfume took care of that fairly quickly though and none of them minded after that. My biggest issue personally was with the kitties....while the less stretchy tooth had held the test of time well so far the kitties had lost all their cute facial features by the end of day one...no more eyes! Now they just look like squish blobs which is kind of upsetting to my three year old. She prefers animals to have eyes. I would say that the larger squish tooth is a much better deal overall.

Currently priced at under $10 (just under ten for the tooth and only around 8 for the set of two cats) these are pretty inexpensive for being so cute. They would also make great kawaii decorations and as decorations they wouldn't lose their eyes! I loved getting to review these with the kiddos and would definitely recommend them as an inexpensive gift if your kids like things that are adorable and smushy!
As always thanks for reading guys and stay awesome!
